Meet Christina

Christina Ward, MS

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Christina holds a master’s degree in psychology, and is particularly interested in organizational psychology and business development, complemented by extensive experience in mental health and addiction treatment. Prior to ALT., she has served in various roles, including CEO, admissions director, clinical assistant, logistics director, and mentor-level field staff in various treatment settings. Her participation in clinical research in ketamine therapy, borderline personality traits, and schizophrenia has enriched her knowledge and shaped her vision for the future of mental health treatments.

In 2016, Christina experienced a tragic accident while canyoneering in the deserts of Utah, a pivotal event that led her to seek out ketamine-assisted therapy after traditional talk therapy and other interventions proved ineffective.

Christina believes that mental health treatment is not a one-size-fits-all approach. She emphasizes the importance of curiosity, self-education, and exploring the best options to find what works for each individual. Passionate about sharing her knowledge and experiences, Christina takes a patient-centered approach when working with clients.

Outside of work, Christina enjoys reading, yoga, and adventuring around Utah with her fiancé and two dogs. Her favorite place in the world is Lake Powell, and she is also an avid houseplant collector.
